Large tents come in lots of different styles and the way they are constructed has a big bearing on decisions regarding how best to deliver power where it is needed.
Pole tents-This is the classic “circus type” tent with one or more poles holding up the center spire and poles evenly spaced around the perimeter.
Frame tents-A tent style that uses a set of interlocked aluminum tubes that create a frame to which the tent fabric is attached with straps.
Marquee tents-A long, narrow version of a frame tent that is used to cover walkways and other areas where people might congregate for short periods of time.
Sailcloth tents-A variation on the circus-style tent that uses wooden poles and translucent fabric that make the tent glow when lit from within.
